Strolling down the path south of Hogwarts, the Asian girl frowned. It had been a while since she had sailed down the lake. She remembered how mystifying it had once been for her. Sure, he elder siblings talked about the school, but it never really was the same as experiencing it. When the others had gone on the carriages, she was stuck with the other first years to be taken by boat on the very same lake so many years before—okay, so it wasn`t that long ago, but it felt like an eternity to her.
By the edge of the lake, she took a seat, looking out to it. She knew full well of the creatures lurking within it. So why did she take her shoes off and lifted her robe to step into the cold lake water? She didn’t know herself, but she shuddered at the cold feeling. She wanted to swim in it, but the creatures; there was the risk of the creatures.
She remembered how there was supposed to be a colony of merpeople and grindylows in the lake. She had heard them sing before, after all; along with what she had recounted from class. There was even supposed to be a giant squid in the lake as well, but she was never really sure on that rumour. Maybe there was one, and maybe there wasn’t, but she couldn’t be all that sure.
“Maybe you should go look for it…” She turned around, but no one was there. Not again. “Heh, maybe… If I can find people to use so I don’t get injured…” She shrugged, smiling softly as she spoke to herself. She treated it as a perfectly normal thing. “Good idea.” The voice agreed.
Thanh Hà shook her head. “Find someone random and throw them into the lake for the monster… That should work out swimmingly.” With the smile still on her face, she looked out to the lake. “Wonder what other creatures lurk within the depths of this lake…” She stated, smiling as she headed back to the shore, to reminisce once more.

'Ah what a nice day' Lesya thought as she wandered aimlessly by the lake on grounds long since memorized. It was a beautiful day and with nothing to do at the time she decided to take a stroll along the trees by the lake. She smiled as she saw one of her students, Thanh, out a distance off wading about ankle high in the water.

Lifting her robe for easy running, Lupe spotted her blonde friend trolling peacefully through the green scenery. "Leysa!" She called to her friend as she approached, avoiding tripping over a fallen branch, and came to a steady stop. She brushed her black curls away from her eyes and smiled at her companion. "Hola, Leysa. What are you doing out here?"

"Good afternoon, Lupe" she smiled as she turned around after hearing the familiar voice of her friend and fellow teacher "Oh nothing, i didn't have anything going on at the moment so i decided to go for a walk. It's a beautiful day today isn't it?"

"Si, very lovely..." she gazed upon the grounds she had loved to explore during her own school years. Her eyes fell upon the lake, then to the female student who seemed to be admiring the lake with all her attention. Lupe pushed her glasses up in place, peering over to the student. She couldn't make her out but...ah, yes!
"Leysa, is that Thahn over by the lake?"
She remembered the young asian girl well. She was very promising in Lupe's eyes.....she wasn't the best in the professors Astrology class, but Lupe could tell she always tried her best. She remembered how interesting it was to see they had the same wands....

She turned her attention back toward the lake. "I believe so, I wonder what she's doing out here?"

Thanh looked over her shoulder, realising that two professors were not too far off from the lake. For now she knew she needed to be careful, lest she wanted to have a fight. Getting out of the water and drying off her feet, she frowned.
“Are they still there?” She clasped her hands over her mouth, wanting to shut up at that moment. Shaking her head so she could be ‘normal’ once again, she sighed, sitting to look out at the lake. She would eavesdrop on the professors, just in case they said something. If it were about her, or any other students; not that she cared for the other students, but it could start some beef.

Lupe's stare remained on the Slytherin student. She thought carefully for a while, and then turned to Lesya.
"Well obviously enjoying the beauty of our lake!" She smiled toward the direction of Thahn. "After all, what young lady doesn't love the romantic atmosphere that a stroll by the lake on a clear afternoon gives?"

Matt breathed the air in slowly as he walked into sun light. It was a nice day, perfect for lying back and checking over his calculations on his newst charm. He absentmindely tucked the goose feather quill behind his ear and wandered towards the lake. Even a shut in like him couldn't resist the sun

Lupe sighed and felt the cool breeze brush through her hair. A bee buzzed by her face, startling her slightly. Her hand waved it away, and as her gaze came up she noticed a certain blonde make his way up to the lake. Her hand abandoned shooing the bug and instead waved towards Matthew.
"Oi! Matthew~"

Lesya giggled she half expected Lupe to say something along those lines. She had known her long enough, she was a bit of romantic.
"Well thats one possibility" She felt the gentle breeze rustle through her hair. She looked up, the sun was a little brighter than usual, she pulled out her wand and gave a light tap to the tree right next to her. The trees branches creating a canopy over their heads to give them some shade. It was a nice day and around lunch time too.
"Oh hello Matthew" she saw the blond walking toward them "I was just about to ask Lupe if she wanted to eat lunch out here today" Today was much to nice to waste eating inside, she was hoping to have some company to join her, maybe even invite Thanh over.

Matthew smiled and turned to walk towards the others. "Hello Miss lupe, Miss Lesya." he said as he drew up to them, his tone unfailingly polite. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. Would you mind if I joined you?" He shifted his book to the other arm and pushed a stray hair that had blown into his face behind his ear.

"How wonderful! Just let me conjure up our lunch..."
Lupe slipped a hand into her left sleeve and retrieved her hidden wand. One flick of the wrist and low and behold a small feast for her friends. She had prepared the meal earlier on in the morning, making sure not too add to much of her famous chile to some of the dishes. She learned too long ago that not everyone could stand a fiery burn to the tongue like she could...
She giggled at the far off memory of giving a piece of spicy tamales to a poor classmate during her first year. With a cough, she calmed herself and smiled triumphantly at the savory smell of the food.
"Well, let's dig in shall we~?"

"How about something to sit on as well, Lupe" Lesya flicked her wrist conjuring up a hand made quilt that had previously been in her office. It appeared right under the place Lupe had summoned up their lunch, giving them a comfy place to sit. She sat down on the quilt and began to pour tea into one of the cups.
"Lupe, was it tea or coffee that you liked better?" she finished pouring one of the cups and then looked to the young blond "Which would you prefer Matthew?"

Matt smiled and sat down next two the ladies. "Tea thank you Miss Lesya." He places his book to the side of him and smiles brightly. "The food smells wonderful Miss Lupe." He takes one of the plates and waits for the others to serve themselves first.

Lupe held her hands firmly at her side to resist the urge to hit her forehead. She smiled gratefully at Lesya, settling down on the snug quilt.
"Ha ha, gracias Lesya. I prefer coffee...Oh! Let me get the cups.."
She stretched over to the small basket containing the cups and silver wear and set it next to her. She reached in to retrieve....nothing? A moment of dumbfoundness crossed her face. Her hand searched the basket to no avail, an embarrassed smile creeping on her features.
"Umm, I'm sorry...but it seems I've forgotten the cups....and apparently the silver wear too....."

"The cups are already out. Here you are Matthew..." She handed the cup she just finished pouring to him and then pored a cup of tea for her self as Lupe rummaged through her basket.
"...but yes, i think the silverware are in fact missing" she held out a cup of coffee for Lupe to take.

Matt smiles taking the cup in one hand and picks up his wand with the other. "I will handle it my dears" he taps his wand and calls his favourite set of silverware to the area. "Here we go."

Lupe's hands clasped together and her joyful smile returned to her lips. "Great! Now everything is set! Thank you Mattie." She took the cup from Lesya and reached for a torta, a long type of sandwich. "So, how have you two been lately?" She took a bite out of the sandwich, savoring the hint of jalapenos with the meat.

"Thank you," she smiled the new charms teacher could be, it was so cliched, such a charm, and he was so cute no the less. Lesya took a sip of her tea as she eyed the lunch Lupe had prepared. After a moment of thought she served herself a bowlful of chile, it smelled delicious like always. "I've been good, Lily on the other hand, well she picking on the first years...again" She let out a sigh and took a bite of her chile, she felt so pathetic, she couldn't even control her own plant "no matter how hard i try i just can't get her to stop, you wouldn't have any advice would you Matthew?" She turned to the blond maybe he had some good advice.
