The headmaster's office is located on the seventh floor, up in the headmaster's tower. It is at the end of a semi-lengthy corridor, but accessible enough so that it isn't a hassle to travel there and to anywhere in the school. It's lit up solely by a few lit torches against the wall, and has been known to be quite the gathering place for some of the ghosts apart from down in the dungeons, seeing as the Headmaster himself doesn't mind and rather likes to hold conversation with them sometimes.
The entrance towards the Headmaster's office is guarded in the form of rather large unicorn which is capable of speaking but usually chooses not to, after the original was destroyed some years back. Speaking a password to the creature, moving stairs will then come into place of which you'll be lead to a door.

The Office is a large, circular room which is clearly kept neat and quite precise. The books on the wall look in order, the sorting hat is placed gently on top of one of the book cases, and a desk sits in the middle, the papers and ink and quill all alligned and ready to write on. There is also a tea-set placed on the desk, the tea set pouring itself out into a cup of tea every so often.
On one side was a few panes of large glass panels, and a lone perch stood near to it. It was home to Arthur's most treasured owl - a Barn Owl, which he'd affectiontately named Tetley - rather than keeping it in the Owlery, it was used for more of his private messages. There also seemed to be some other small tables set near to the windows with what appeared to be food or what. If people could catch them, it was just a small place for some of the faeries or pixies that Arthur knew as well to reside and clean themselves if they pleased.
The only thing that looked un-neat about the area was the dozens upon dozens of portraits displayed upon the wall - just the fact that there were so many seemed to bring some air of chaos to the room; but not so much that it cluttered up the space. Other items lay to the side, some seemingly plain muggle items that Arthur had picked up over the years, some weird contraptions - including the pensieve and the sword of gryffindor. On his desk were also placed a few pictures, of places and people that Arthur never really talked to anyone about or bothered to mention. There was one, however, of him as a student at the school with some others...
There also seems to be some sort of small, wooden filing cabinet, which opened would give access to every student and past student's history. A small board neatly engraved with shifting notes and such is written out, along with some sort of calendar. A small cupboard is right next to that, and opening it should you come across all the different ranges of tea -- from Indian to Lemon to Earl Grey. A personal favourite, is just that he likes to go the muggle way occasionally and use a teabag from one of the more simple brands such as Twinings or PG Tips.
A few maps were stuck up on the wall and the room was lit up at night by either candlelight or what appears to be some charm-binded orbs -- but may be infact the creatures that the Headmaster allows into the office during the evening, and annoys the portraits to no end at times.

The Living Quarters are located up the stairs at the back of the office, the doors themselves needing another password which only the Headmaster himself knew, because he'd been pranked enough as it was by people to be aware of such things, just in case. The room itself looked just as warm and had a familiar, antique glow just like the office, lit up by candlelight during the night. The bed is quite a grand four-poster, graceful net curtains twining themselves down. The bedsheets themselves were that of a burgundy red, himself having quite a natural appeal for that colour, as much as he was strictly a stubborn Ravenclaw.
A large reading chair was situated in one corner, a candlelight sitting on a table with a few books nearly stacked up, one twisted in such a way that it was obvious that he was about to resume it any day. A small pair of reading glasses joined it, and a small foot stool ready for him to lean back on the cushion and read to himself was all set out.
Another small desk situated itself near the door, another tea set enchanted so it poured itself a cup of tea every so often. A Parchment of paper sits there ready, and some more seemingly miscelleanous pictures sit there ready. There also seems to be some sort of journal, but it seems enchanted to remain locked except by hearing of the user's voice.
A picture of the landscape that can be seen from one point of the school is mounted magically on the wall, moving as students walk across it and enjoy the summer day. There's a large oval rug placed on the floor, and the window to see out looks over much of the expanse of the lake and forbidden forest. Soft net curtains tend to cover it, making it very accessible to just sit there as a window seat and look out at the great scene before them.
