[Closed to Peter, Val, Al, and Lupe]
Peter, almost immediately after leaving his first Charms class, he an evil plot in mind. Professor Williams had mentioned something about charming Professor Jones to having thought he was a frog. Peter snickered as the thought of the flying professor hopping around like a frog and he wanted to hear the full story. Peter grabbed Valerie's arm lightly as he sped up his walking. On his first day as a Gryffindor, he was told where Professor Jones' office was located, and he was eager to get there.
He finally let go of Valerie's arm when he stood in front of the door that he knew was Professor Jones' office. "Wanna go in?" he asked.

Valerie laughed as she was dragged along by Peter. Her bones where settled with this already, despite barely knowing the Gryffindor for two days, some part of her knew that she would always be dragged along by Peter, that she'll always be ready to make sure he was ready, that Raivis would be there, should be there, too doing his own function in their little trio.
The stranger part of this knowledge was that she wasn't fully aware of it until they stopped at Mr. Jones' door.
"You'll pull me in even if I said no." She flashed a grin at him and knocked. "Try to start with mention charms class before you get to the frog part."

((I'm NOT being lazy in this one! LE GASP))
Al paused and glanced at the door. Someone was already knocking? This early in the year? "Heh, Got to take this, Lupe, might be an emergency and all." He swung open the door and smiled down at the two first years.
The colors were the first thing to catch his eye, and his heart sank a little until he saw their smiles. Al's own grin widened. "Come in." He turned around, debating whether rewarding each house ten points 'for the display of inter-house friendship' would be appropriate, then he remembered Raivis watching them on the pitch and put Raivis in that list and his seemed to have forgotten to reward Ravenclaw fifty points for Feliks's help. As he walked to he desk, he muttered and corrected all that "Ten points to Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff for showing how inter-house relations should go, fifty to Ravenclaw for the extra assistance."
He sat down, grinned at the two first years, and gestured themm to sit down. "So, what brings you two here?"

Peter returned Valerie's smile as he took his seat across from Professor Jones. "Well, uh, we just came back from Charms, and Professor Williams mentioned you." As he let this sneak in, Peter snickered. "So Professor Jones...what was it like to think you were a frog?"

Al smiled softly at the mention of Matthew.
Right up until the word 'frog'. "What?" The came out rather choked, almost - almost a croak. "How would I no THAT?" If Mattie was telling students about that April Fools prank.....

Valerie giggled. "He said that he made you think you were one. Was it because he was mad? Or was it a friendly prank?"

Lupe stopped sipping her sweetened coffee as the two first years walked in. By the grins on their faces, she could already tell this wasn't about classes. She had to admit, she was a bit unnerved by the smiles on their faces. They seemed oddly familiar...
She smiled as Peter and Val seated across from Al, to her right, and watched them, going back to her hot drink.
Then Peter mentioned frogs.
Well, THAT caught Lupe off guard. If they weren't in the presence of students, she would have most likely spit coffee all over herself. Again.
But her grin couldn't stop from spreading on her features. She took a side-ways look to Al, her cool almost obliterated at his expression. She lifted her cup in an attempt to hide her smug smile.
"Well, Al?"

Al sputtered, then gave in with a smirk. "Well, While you're thinking that you're one, it's not all that odd. It's when you first turn back and realized that you had what you remembered as a pile of flies for breakfast that things get weird. And it was an April Fool's Prank. Lupe likely know more about it than I do."

Peter snickered at the thought, though a deep dark cruel side of him wondered what flies would taste like. Without intending to speak his thoughts aloud, he muttered to himself, "I wonder what Uncle Artie'd do if he thought he was a Squirrel." He turned to the other teacher in the room, "So what else do you know, Professor Sangre?"

Lupe smiled and set her mug on her lap, casting a small charm to keep it warm. Peter’s small comment urged the smile to broaden.
“Well, we were still students at the time, a trio. Al was a bit of a prankster back then…” She snuck a glance towards the Kirkland boy a smirked,”…and Mattie decided that our American friend shouldn’t be the only one to have all the fun.”
Lupe could still see it now. The mischievous gleam that had shown in her friend’s usually gentle eyes was quite the thrilling sight.
“Mattie was starting to be a real wiz at Charms, so we came with a little trick to pull on Al that April Fools.” The memory brought an abrupt laugh from her. “Oh it was so hilarious! Haha!”
Lupe covered her mouth with a free hand and forced the laughter into giggles. She looked apologetically to her friend.
“Hehe, I’m sorry, Al. But you never get over seeing your friend bounce around and chase a fly like that! You still don’t remember it all?”

Al shrugged. "I remember vague things, and some stuff that makes absolutely no sense. Like that the way to take the spell off was for the right person to kiss me. Mattie isn't the kind of person to think of that stuff." He fell slight, puzzling that over.
"Huh. If you were in the planning process though, it'd make sense."

The giggling immediatly stoped. Lupe froze with the smile stuck on her face, like a child caught cheating off a classmate. She quickly retaliated and waved a hand dismissivly at her friend.
"Que? I don't know what your talking about. Why would I put in something like that?" She straightened herself out, and took a sip from her warm mug. "It must have just been a part of the charm!"

Al sighed. "Because, one, you're even more of a romantic than HE is." The ex-keeper paused dramatically, one finger in the air for a moment before raising a second. The pause wasn't so much as him being dramatic as debating that point again. There was little doubt that Mattie was a romantic, just whether Lupe could really beat him at it. In the end, he gave it to Lupe, becasue she didn't try to hide it in the slightest.
"Two, You're the only one he would plan WITH, and, three, you're familiar enough with muggle fairytales to think of such a thing. Though I'm glad it only had to be on the cheek."

Peter scrunched his face up in displeasure, he did NOT like where this conversation had turned to. "Ewww, kissing," he commented. In the household he lived in, he hadn't seen a lot of expressions of affection as the Kirklands weren't very affectionate. Maybe when drunk, but not normally. Plus he was twelve and girls were icky (except Valerie but that's because she was cool).

Valerie giggled. "Judging by Mister Jones' face, he thought it too, back then." It was a conspiratorial whisper, her grin wide. She didn't think it herself; she understood the meaning well enough (she missed her mother tucking her in, giving her a hug, and kissing her cheek) and just let it slide.
And the slight blush of humiliation across Mr. Jones' face was pricelees.

Lupe's eye twitched unintentionally. Damn, she was caught! She frowned slightly at her friend's (CORRECT) accusations.
"W-well, I....." With no comeback in mind, she went back to her coffee, mumbling incoherent Spanish into her cup.
Peter's comment nearly made her choke on her drink.
'That boy,' she thought to herself, 'reminds me sooo much of that man!...Back then.'
Lupe grinned along with Valerie. She peered over to Al and giggled at his expression.
