Well, that was a certainly interesting opening feast—if he didn’t get a chance to smash in the little slug’s face was interesting that is. So close. He was so damn close, and he had to be stopped by the headmaster. Why he didn’t do anything to the headmaster, well, he had SOME common sense still in him. Just because he was impulsive enough to make an attempt to harm Beilschmidt, but it was because the idiot deserved it.
There were few things that made Sparta mad. Very few; shortening his name was one of those things, but he would have been able to look past that. The teasing about an IMAGINARY ex-lover was the thing that had pushed it over the edge. Why the other man would have thought of that was BEYOND him. Maybe it was just fun and jokes to the other, but it wasn’t to Lacedaemon. It irritated him, considering he was more of the old fashioned kind of man, so it didn’t help that a man YOUNGER than him treated him with disrespect—in his mind.
He knew that if it were anywhere else, and if the headmaster was not there, then Sparta would have done much worse to the professor; much, much worse. He would teach him a proper lesson, and maybe not so humane. Then again, maybe it was good that the headmaster had dropped in on them, or else he’d have lost his job, and possibly thrown into Azkaban.
Ah well. Sparta soon got note that he needed to visit the headmaster’s office. Well whoopdeedo; the talking that he had spoken about was not a bluff. He could try to avoid the talk for until whenever, but he doubted that it would last long, and it might anger the uptight old man even more—even though Sparta was older than the other.
Going down the corridor to the headmaster’s office, he sighed. Maybe he should’ve thrown on a robe before coming over, just in case. He remembered the point that headmaster Kirkland had said during the feast, and he’d rather not get a repeat.
Too late now.
Looking at the unicorn statue, he blinked. Well damn. How was he going to get in now?

Of course it wasn't a bluff! Sparta had nearly hit another member of staff -- in front of the whole school. Such... acts were unacceptable. Arthur did not pick his staff to make such a bad example!
After giving the Frenchman and Prussian a send off, he'd settled down for a while and made some preperations for the rest of the year, muttering and attending to his owl, Tetley, who was currently sat on her perch.
Down in the corridor, there was no movement for a few moments to the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher; just a flicker of the lamp behind him.
The grand unicon statue stood there for a moment, before it's eyes shifted. It seemed to stare at the male, as though studying it.
A couple of seconds later and the spiral staircase suddenly started rising up, It would lead to a wodden door, of which would open onto the office. A few more small steps would lead up to the Headmaster's desk.
The male himself was stood by the window, staring out into the dimly lit evening. He let a soft orb of light pass by him in the open window and his eyes shifted to the side, catching sight of the blurred figure behind him. His expression noticeably thinned, and he didn't even face towards him as he turned to his desk.
"... Sit."
There was a flick of his wand, and a couple of seconds later, the Spartan's robe from his own room flown up. It dropped over the man's head.
".. I assumed you forgot something."
He told him to wear something more appropiate yet he still wandered up looking like that?
The glare Arthur was giving to him as he finally turned around and sat down obviously meant bad news.
Arms folded and the Brit waited, expectantly.

The man looked around the office. He didn’t notice any difference since the last time. He hadn’t been in the room that often, or at least, that’s what he could recall. Every time he had to come in here, he would usually just push it from his memories, or push it as back as possible in his mind. The office meetings were never one of his favourite things to remember anyways.
When the headmaster told him to sit, he took it as a suggestion and he remained standing, trying to put the robe on as swiftly as he could. Honestly, he really could do without the uniform. It only got in the way of moving effectively anyways. “I didn’t forget it,” Lacedaemon stated back, looking at the headmaster. “I chose not to wear it, is all.” He shrugged. “The fabric gets in the way of movement. You understand that, correct?” Sparta questioned, looking at the other man.
Looking at the Brit, the Spartan held his ground. “What more do you want, an explanation?” He inquired, frowning. “’Cause I was expecting you’d know the explanation already on this topic.” The man stated. “Since you already spoke to Beilschmidt…” Even if Sparta said that, he knew that the other man wouldn’t have said much about the topic since he had another kind of explanation to deal with the Brit about.
“So must there be much more to be said about this? You and I both know that time is a precious thing.” He frowned. It’s not like the year had fully started, but there were things he’d rather keep his nose out of. The headmaster’s office was one of those things, considering his dislike of this place.
Besides, the longer he spent there, the more he felt that the headmaster would soon find out about him sending students to the Forbidden Forest alone to research about dark creatures, which made the professor jittery; explaining the beads of sweat from his forehead, along with his awkward two step, boxed pacing the professor did.
“I sincerely apologise about the ordeal with Beilschmidt, and it will…” He paused, thinking of the correct word to use. “Well, there will be fewer chances of you seeing me hurting him.” He stated.

Arthur's lips thinned.
Hearing the toll of what was considered an 'explanation' on the Spartan's behalf, Arthur just gave up and stood up.
".. No. You listen to me. I told you to sit down. So do it."
His wand was held out. For some people he would have just done it outright, for the others he would have given them a chance. It wasn't the fact that the teacher was neither older nor clearly obviously much physically stronger than him - no, he'd faced much more.. worse, things in his time. The male simply still held respect for his staff. He picked them all for a reason.
".... For starters, Sparta. Don't you dare assume I'm just going to flaunt you off. I expect a proper explanation from you as I did from Beilschmidt. I do not side in this career. I know there must be a reason why you did it, as irresponsible as you appear to be making yourself this year."
Arthur stared down at the uniform for a moment, before he folded his wand away.
"... The uniform is mandatory. When you accepted the application to join this school it was a part of your agreement that you would apply to all school rules. -- Every single member of this school has to wear the exact same clothing, so why should you wear any different, Hm? It's disrespectful not only to me but it gives a bad influence on the students here - they're here to learn and be unified as a school, not to play out their differences in clothing because 'their Professor does it'."
He didn't notice his fist had clenched until he'd reached out to grasp at the handle of his teacup, staring into the liquid for a moment before he just gave up completely.
"... If you must remove some clothing to be able to show practical work to the students effectively then I'll let that pass by - but I don't want to see you wearing any less than you are now outside of your classroom or where it's appropiate."
A silence dropped in the office for a few moments. Tetley, after seeming to observe this .. well, ruckus, decided to just flap off out of the open window and see if it could devour some sort of mouse for the night. The Portraits on the wall mumbled quietely to themselves. They'd all seen much worse go on in this office before.
The Headmaster slowly sat down and leaned his arms on his desk, leaning forward a little so that eye contact was made with the older man; it was one of those stares that you couldn't really avert.
"... But an explanation would be lovely to as why you nearly hit another member of staff in front of about three hundred students. And no, you won't be doing it less, you will not be doing it at all. I won't put up with violence among staff and I won't tolerate it. And trust me, if I have to follow with the consequences of any staff member fighting, no matter how good they are a teacher, I won't hesitate to do it. This is despicable."
How could a member of his own staff even thing of breaking such ... important, standards?

When the other held out the wand, Sparta wanted to stand his ground against the man, so he merely stayed put in his standing position. The wand was merely a tool in Sparta’s mind, and surely the British man didn’t have enough balls to use it against him. Lacedaemon highly doubted that he did anyways. When the wand was put away, the Spartan looked at the other man carefully, looking for ulterior motives for the Brit to put his wand away.
“The reason was that Beilschmidt was being an idiot, simple as that.” The large man stated, crossing his arms. “He should have known my ideals, and he still put them to the limit. He had fair warning, as did anyone else about me.” Lacedaemon stated, eyes looking straight into the headmaster’s eyes, daring him on. “Is that a good enough explanation for you?” He stared.
“As for the uniform,” His voice moved onward to shift into a growl. “I am not wearing anything different from the staff, now am I?” Sparta questioned, eyes narrowing. “Besides, is it really bothering anyone if I choose not to wear the robes? Give the students some credit for common sense why don’t you, Kirkland.” He stressed the headmaster’s name. “They have more sense than to be dragged up here and be talked to with you. Even the new students have more sense than that!” He knew that he was calling himself senseless, but he needed to admit, he was brainless at times.
The tanned man continued glaring at his so called superior, having reverted into his defensive, prehistoric mindset. With his nose flared and eyes wide, he silently dared the headmaster on as he heard about the no tolerance on violence.

"No, no it isn't. As much as I don't doubt that Gilbert is indeed on the lower forms of human intelligence, you surely, surely do not need to sink to such a level, Sparta. You are much more a man of that, I am sure."
This was..
Arthur was the Headmaster. Why was a member of his staff dejecting what he was telling?!
At the clear shift in the male's stance, palms rest on the desk and he stood to gain full on eye contact with the Professor. Daring him? Why was he daring him?
His gaze held, and Arthur didn't blink once.
".... I am not asking you to wear it, I am telling you. I am not asking you to inquire your reasons, I am demanding you. You will wear your robes around the school, Sparta. You're surely not disobeying my orders, are you? Now that's something that will bother people. Why should I keep a member of staff that won't listen to me while the rest of the school, staff and students alike, do so appropiately?"
His own gaze had hardened, his voice having lowered into a steely whisper by now.
"I'm not putting up with crap, Sparta. It's indecent. Wear some bloody clothes."
This was Scotland, for christ's sake! How could he even manage this sort of weather?

Sparta’s gaze hardened, if it were possible that is. “I’m more of a man than you are, if that is what you mean,” He muttered under his breath, rolling his eyes. “But as for Beilschmidt, you are being far too generous to even consider that he has a form of human intelligence.”
If the Transfiguration professor hadn’t ticked him off, maybe he would’ve reasoned with the headmaster and agreed to what he had said about wearing the robes out of class. Too bad he was ticked off at the moment. If he was in a calmer mindset, he would be safe; he would have been able to realise that he was going to be skating on thin ice, if he wasn’t already.
The Spartan’s face held, still glaring at the man. He had enough brains to keep from trying to physically injure the man, or even magically. The other could stop him in a heartbeat; he had a strong feeling about that.
Oh, so he was going to use force against the Spartan now. That was fine. “Do you want disobedience?” Lacedaemon relaxed his muscles, though his more reptilian brain was still in control. “This does not classify as disobedience. And even if it were, I doubt the students would pay it any mind, along will the other professors.” He continued to look at the headmaster, head raised high.
“Did you know that the school I used to go to before I got the acceptance letter into Hogwarts many years ago, the students were not permitted to this kind of comfort such as clothing?” The man had made a statement into the form of a question. “Even if I was forced to be this way…” He motioned at the robe that he had been—somewhat—forced to wear. “I still prefer the days of childhood, Arthur.” He glared.
“And what would this crap you are talking about?” He questioned. “I do not see any around here.” He didn’t mind the climate. It was nice for him, especially since wearing trousers in the cold was better than wearing nothing at all.
(( Just some Spartan references in there... Hope that's okay. .__. ))

"I think you're a little confused: For one, you're not a child anymore though you're certainly acting like one -- and two -- you're not there anymore, you're in Hogwarts. And this is my school and while you are here, you will play by my rules."
The wand was slipped out from under his robes again and pointed. But the door behind the Spartan clicked open instead. The Brit muttered to himself as he kicked his chair (quite neatly, however) and motioned towards the burly male.
"... I don't have the time for this anymore. You wear your robes out of the classroom or you'll be having more than me lecturing at you for hours on end to deal with. Go."
Arthur really didn't just understand. It was just a set of robes. What the bloody hell was so difficult about wearing them?
