Maria entered the group common room, her books on Defense Against the Dark Arts and Care for Magical Creatures in her black messenger bag with an excuse to read them in here. But one would say, why won't she rather read it in her House's own common room instead of the Group one.
Easy, she was rather comfortable to be surrounded with people from different Houses rather than her own. Well, except for Slytherins, now that is an issue she wants to raise. Then again, the perfect opportunity itself has not present itself [mostly naked save for the extremely short hula shirt wrapped around its bits] infront of her yet.
Sighing, she sat down on an armchair near the window, but not so far from the warmth of the fireplace. Taking off her shoes and tucking her legs underneath her in a snug manner, the girl then proceeded to read her book on CoMC, the chapter on Pixies to be more precise.

On a regular afternoon at Hogwarts, Professor Sangre usually spent the better part of her time grading papers and researching new information to give to her students.
But today was different. Today, Lupe actually had some down time for herself.
With so much time left on her hands, Lupe had grown completely bored. And there was only one was to stop it. A good romance/suspense book in the group common room!
Lupe squeed with glee as she basically skipped into the vast room, her personal favorite, Dream Man, tucked securely under her arm. Coming in here to read was a favorite hobby of hers as a first year, and it had become a weekly occurrence in the years ahead.
She plopped into her favorite arm chair and melted into the soft cushion. She glanced up and stopped as she spotted a student of hers sitting near a window. She smiled at how concentrated she looked upon her book, always admiring a studious student.

Al grumbled, shifting all the papers from his head of house duties in his arms. It took him a bit to get a hand free, but once he had it, he entered the group common room. "Hey Lupe. Miss Maria."
He nodded at the two women, then settled his papers onto one of the desks. He didn't remember the Gryffindor house being such trouble makers before. Al sighed, going through the various punishments that students had received. At least most of the older students avoided the silly dares that the first and second years seemed to get roped into.

Lupe pressed a finger to her current spot on an intriguing page before she raised her head to the incomer. She smiled warmly to her friend and watched him try to balance the papers in his arms.
"Hello Alfred," she answered sweetly, happy to see she could have some time alone with hi-
She paused and glanced to Miss Maria.
Well...at least she could spend some time with him...
Her brown eyes looked to where Alfred had seated himself, noting the sigh with a bit of concern.
"Is anything wrong, Alfred?" she asked worriedly.

Vash was not one for hanging out at the lake or being anywhere that was too unnecessarily loud. Though the Hufflepuff common room was nice, there were quite a few people in that house and it got chaotic quickly. Thus, he found himself within the group common room, hoping for some peace and quiet. He attempted to shut out all other noise as he curled up with his Charms textbook, fully prepared to do homework.

Al looked up and smiled at Maria, "Huh? Oh, no." He put his glasses on top of his head and started going through the papers.
"Just really busy right now," He continued to explain to Lupe as he worked.
