Al scowled at the unicorn statue that wouldn't budge. "I suppose he's in a private meeting with someone." He let out an explosive sigh, then sat on the floor. He glanced up at the unicorn. "I don't suppose your good at riddles? Al held up the two sheets of paper with the poems on them.
He settled in, re-reading them and trying to puzzle them out. He'd just wait for Arthur to be done with whoever he was talking to.

Arthur blinked. He smirked.
Ooh, now this would be a revelation. As long as the man didn't decide to throw up after then most animals just ate if they were hungry enough. They didn't have much of a conscious to decide not to eat.
With a grunt, he tried to prize Matthew up, holding out his wand and flicking it as he summoned some food.
Well, he would be uhungry..

Matt pounced off of Arthur and onto the food, He ate with gusto and abandon, not wanting to stop as he felt his stomach filling. His tail was once more going a mile a minute and small whimpering noises were coming out of him. He let the wolf instincts take over shifting to stand firm over his meal. No one would take this food from him. When he was done, which was very quickly, looked up and whined again.

Arthur rolled his eyes to him, before there was a flick of a wand and some more food was summoned. Arthur would be happy to feed him until he was full. He needed to eat. Becoming an animal in the first place would take a lot out of any human being.
He smiled softly to himself, sitting down gently behind his desk.
Now, this would take a while to wear off..

One Matt was full he sat back and looked up at the other expectantly. He knew there was a reason he was like this, and as much as he enjoyed just the feelings, he knew that this was a lesson and he needed to learn. ... Even if he wanted to sniff around the office and get into everything.

Arthur was currently reading through a newspaper, and it was only after a few moments did he bother to look down over the rim of his reading glasses.
He blinked.
"What? You're going to be like that for a while, you realise. As long as you don't do anything troublesome, you need to get used to being conformed in an animal's body. It's awfully different to being human, anyway."
... That was permission.

Matt immeditly began to scent around the office, exploring every nook and cranny. He could smell a strangely familiar scent everywhere and strong in the office, on chairs, the desk. He sniffed towards the door, following the scent, trying very hard to remember where he had smelt it before.
'broom polish? Musk? dust ?the fog...' he catalogued the scents that made up the smell. Excitement, anger, sadness, determination all were supplied by the wolfs mind as tints to the smell. He wandered out the door.

Al was slumped beside the unicorn, fast asleep. The papers were still in his hands, his glasses askew on his face, his black robe sliding down his shoulder and showing a glimpse of a white t-shirt with an American flag inspired design.
Clearly, he had fallen asleep studying the words on the paper, and now his dreams made him mumble. "Mattie.... get you out... pr'mis. Won' le' 'im hur' you..."

Before the wolf could wander any farther, A hand had reached out and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck. Arthur frowned, a little.
"... Not a bloody good idea to go wandering around in this form, you realise."
Though he himself would probably have to go down and attend the feast and such at some point.

The wolf turned back and barked at the door. 'The smell is out their though! I want to know what it is." he struggled at little at the hand but calmed down and was just content to bark again.

Arthur blinked again, looking over to the door.
What was he?...
He looked again. Then stared down at Matthew.
".. Stay there, then. I'll be back up in a moment." He let go of the scruff and opened the door, disappearing as he closed it behind him and wandered down towards the stairs.
It was only as he appeared out in the corridor did he find himself staring. He was about to nudge the American awake, but he felt himself stop, gazing at the man for a few moments in his sleep-induced state...
He blushed, but harshly nudged Alfred with his foot. He put on his more authoritive tone.
"Jones."

The loud barking awoke Al up and he glanced around. He fixed his glasses with a groan. "What the?" his thoughts danced, and he wondered if wolves barked.
"Kirkland." Al paused then held up the papers. "I figured out what I was missing earlier. There's another one, but it's in the Ravenclaw common room and..." Al grinned, "I'm pretty sure we can figure it out how to help Mattie, like, super soon!"

Matt sat for a moment waiting before sighing and turning back to the scent. He sniffled around the chair a little. For some reason he really like that scent, It made him even more relaxed and happy. It was also here quiet a bit in the last couple of days. Perhaps a lover? He sniffed near the door. A new one since there didn't seem to be much scent if any near the door.
Who could it be?

Arthur just suddenly blinked at that, before looking around quite desperately.
"... U-Um, couldn't you come back later? I'm a little occupied."
Not to mention, he had a wolf up in his office. That wouldn't go down well if he brought Alfred up, considering the wolf was Matthew.
He supposed it was good he'd found something. But he was controlling one thing at a time.

Al blinked up at Arthur, then shrugged. "I guess. He's up there now, isn't he?" Al stood, and suddenly his mind reeled away with thoughts. His jaw dropped.
"Y-you're teaching him to shapeshift - animagus - he's a wolf." Al handed Arthur the older of the papers, to show him how he knew. "If he's in animal form now - simpler emotions - can I see him? Please?"

Arthur's expression fell, his lips falling into a thin line.
"... Don't make such assumptions, you prick. How do you know? What I'm currently doing in there is strictly confidential. For all you know, the Minister of Magic could be up there."
He looked Alfred up and down.
"So before he started wondering why my staff members are slumped outside my office, I suggest you shoo."
Really. How inconsiderate.

He flushed in embarrassment and ducked his head. "Sorry, I just - Never mind. Don't know why I thought... You might as well take these for now." He held out both papers so that Arthur could get it. "There's one more, but I can't get it - it's in the Ravenclaw common room, somewhere on or in that badger Mattie and I magicked in there." He gave a dejected smile and scratched the back of his head before turning around and walking away, shoulders hunched and dragging his feet.
"I just heard barking and hoped you were on the right path without needing the clues," He mumbled sourly.

Matt could smell the scent moving away and began to whine lightly but instead waited like Arthur said.
It was such a strange sensation to be a wolf, he pondered as he sniffed the bottom drawer of Arthur's desk. It was interesting being this close to the ground, you saw so many things, and smelt even more. He could smell at least 5 adults in the office and some younger people. He began to sniff, not noticing his tail moving knocking things off shelves and the desk.

It was a few moments later and the male himself soon returned. He found himself pausing, before sighing as he flicked his wand. The objects and books that had been knocked off soon flicked back up onto the shelf, Arthur doing nothing but raising an eyebrow.
"Be a little more careful, would you?" He remarked, rolling his eyes.
He placed the two sheets of paper down on his desk, seating himself back down as he studied them again. He sipped at his tea.
Hm..

Matt came up to him and began to sniff the other lightly, sniffing the edge of his robes first them moving up, not really noticing the placement of his nose.
The tinny edge of stress mingled with the musty smell of old books, smoky ink and the faint smell of booze. He sniffed deeper, noting that the other seemed to a an ionized smell, one that reminded him of ... well he couldn't quiet tell.
He flickered his ears and pressing against the other trying to figure out the smell. His legs came up on to the other, a comforting movement since he had missed contact for so long.
He sniffed over the crotch which brought only testosterone, which he snorted at, now was not the time to be interested in sins of the flesh, besides he could fee the curse reacting to that. Instead he sniffs up the others chest, nuzzling under his chin. Where was that smell coming from?
